We love Lyon Family Farms! All the pumpkins are $5 (unless you get a different kind than what they they have in the field) no matter the size, which is great. There is so much to do for kids that you could spend all day there. The prices are reasonable and there is just so much to do. You'll definitely get your money's worth and then some. Can't wait to go back next year!
Best pumpkin farm I've ever been to! So much family farm! I love the bible verse signs and christian music playing! Huge plus!
We have been going to Lyon family farm for years. It's always wonderful and every year something is added or improved! The staff is warm and welcoming. My only complaint is we don't live close enough to justify season passes.
We went with our Church group and had such a great time. We had kids of all ages,from babies to 70 + and there was something for everyone. The cow train and hay ride were fun and just the right length to be enjoyable. I'll recommend Lyon Family Farms to everyone looking for a fun filled day of fall festivities.
This was the best pumpkin patch I've ever been to. We drove an hour and a half to get to Taft for the sole reason of going to Lyon Family Farms. I knew what to expect for the most part as I already checked out their website before we went. Upon arrival it does seem a little spendy. Once we were inside and got to experience a little of what we had we realized it was worth the money for sure. We brought our daughter who is almost two and she had a blast! We stayed for almost three hours and could have stayed longer. The corn bins with toy trucks in was her favorite. The tiny cow train ride was another hit. The slides she loved as well as seeing the animals. We bought food upon arrival to feed the animals but most were already to full to eat it. My only real downside or concern about Lyon Family Farm was their calf they have there. He looked very ill. He obviously was fed way to much sweet feed and was not feeling okay, yet they just kept letting people feed it. The calf was much to skinny and flies were all over the sick calf. I hope this issue has already been addressed. Other then that the experience was wonderful. I would also like to add the very welcomed surprise of the changing/nursing room. It was really a breath of fresh air while having to change my little one. This time last year I was breastfeeding and the nursing area would have been so amazing. It was greatly appreciated!!! We hope to make Lyon Family Farms a yearly tradition in our family.
